Newsletters

We produce three six monthly newsletters, as outlined below. We also produce occasional special edition newsletters about a particular issue, such as information sharing (see attachment below) or to inform you about new procedures for example.

The three regular newsletters are:

  • SSCB newsletter (winter and summer editions) contains generic information about safeguarding issues in Sheffield. This is available electronically via email circulation or by downloading the attachments below. Printed versions are available if you need to receive a hard copy. To register, please email sscb@sheffield.gov.uk.

  • Sheffield Runaways Action Group (SRAG) newsletter (winter and summer editions) specifically covers issues for professionals about working with children and young people who runaway from home or care. These newsletters are only available electronically, via email distribution or downloading the attachment at the bottom of the page. If you would like to be on the distribution list to receive the runaways newsletter please contact Angie.Heal@sheffield.gov.uk.

  • SSCB E-safety Task Group newsletter (autumn and spring editions) provides information for professionals working in the City about the E-Safety programme, and some of the issues that are current. These newsletters are also only available electronically, via email distribution or downloading the attachment below.
