Early Intervention and Integrated Practice
Early intervention and integrated practice are an essential part of supporting and safeguarding babies, children and young people within their families.
This practice has developed from the recommendations of the Laming Report, Every Child Matters and the Children Act 2004. It applies to all agencies and practitioners that work with children or support parents, and assumes that at all times those agencies and practitioners will work together to provide this support.
This section holds guidance documents and templates to support practitioners with information sharing, assessment and support for those they work with.
Safetynet+ Within Sheffield we have seen the success of Integrated Practice, supported by the SafetyNET system, and the years of benefits it has provided to practitioners, children and young people across the city. Safetynet+ is the replacement for the old SafetyNET system (now switched off) and is available to practitioners who have been confirmed by their services as requiring access and who have completed the Safetynet+ training. |
