Education Safeguarding Children Policies & Procedures
The documents in this section form the policies and procedures required for schools and other education settings to perform their safeguarding children roles and responsibilites.
Ofsted have confirmed that:
- Any Sheffield school can adopt the safeguarding policies and procedures on this website
- Each school must have a hard copy available for parents and others to see if requested
- The policies do not need to have the school name and logo on
- An Ofsted inspection will check whether the school has put these policies and procedures in place
All documents in this section are reviewed and updated on a regular basis by the Safeguarding Service. The latest update is Version 4, September 2009.
